Honey... I Shrunk the SDF-3
HG has finally updated the macha size preview page for Shadow Chronicles. Some of you may have also noticed that the SDF-3 has shrunk!
The SDF-3 Pioneer (Original) pic was made by the same guy who created the others on RT.com

So how much did they take from the old SDF-3 to make the new one? a couple of screws?
Well, i remember very long time ago from old Art Books (i think) that SDF-3 (Original) was a hollow casing for the ship itself.
Do i like new SDF-3? Noooooo. It looks too boxy and unlike Older SDFs, no character to it.
They should have kept the SDF-3 the way it was. The newer SDF-4 and later ships (as seen in the later episodes of the original series) were also cool. If they HAD to change the SDF-3, they should have gone in that direction, but give us a REALLY good explanation as to why the look changed - AND DO IT IN THE MOVIE. Not in some lame, off camera, back-story way.
Did they redesign it because of trademark issues with Zentraedi stuff? Maybe?
